SBT Group Taranaki Tarmac Rally returns on Saturday 27 June 2026
A Round of the North Island Rally Series
Based out of New Plymouth the event consists of iconic Taranaki back country roads, 100% tarmac.
This year we propose to run two events, firstly the Tarmac Rally as part of the North Island Rally Series, secondly a Tarmac Tour.
TARMAC RALLY: The approved RALLY supplementary regulations are available here (RALLY Supplementary Regulations.pdf)
TARMAC TOUR: Unfortunately, the proposed tour has had to be cancelled. We will continue to work with MSNZ to try and make this a viable event in 2027. This does not impact the RALLY.
