Stratford Park - Working Bee
Sorry for the delay in getting this information out.
When: Saturday 16th July
Time: 10am till 1pm
Location: Monmouth Road (Paper Road Gate)

Plan for Saturday is to have two teams, one working on removal of fencing and the other on weather tighten the barn (Concrete floor one). If everyone could bring and wear their own hi-vis.
Weathers not looking great for Saturday so we can make the call 9am Saturday and put it out on social media.
Barn to do:
-The South side roof needs patching (Use iron in shed)
- Fit window or Perspex to fill the gap.
- Replace missing paling on the sliding door (use wood in barn)
- Replace spouting (use wood in barn)
- Drainage in front of doors
- Replace rotten barge board (use wood in barn)
- General clean up ready for use.
Fencing to do:
-Remove fences and stack materials for re-use if possible.
With the land recently being purchase by the Taranaki Motorsport Trust there hasn't been any income generated yet, so we are need some help with materials see below. If you can help please contact Larni.
Materials needed:
- Spouting & Down pipes for both sides of the shed – so 18mtrs in total. But a 3mtr length would cover the main sliding door for now.
- Both doors could do with a load of metal and some drainage.
- Two combination padlocks
- We need a new window, or Perspex to fill the gap. See photo.
Equipment needed:
- Iron cutters
- hand saw, or battery powered skill saw
- Safe ladder
- 2 x trestles for timber cutting
- Hammer & nails and clouts for spouting hooks
- Portable generator may come in handy
-brooms, spades, shovels, pinch bar.
The more hands and tools on deck the better :).
