Taranaki Car Club send their condolences to Graeme Sutton and wider family on the passing of Taranaki Car Club Life Member Annabelle Sutton.

Annabelle was originally a member of the Hawkes Bay Car Club and was involved with them in the late 1950’s and the 1960’s. She was involved with the committee and as a competitor and came third in the National trials in 1959 as a navigator. Anabelle was an Assistant Secretary and then Secretary of the HBCC.

The family moved to New Plymouth and Annabelle became involved with the Taranaki Car Club in the late 1990’s (at the urging her son Graham) and was Treasurer for over 20 years. She was honoured with a life membership for her dedication to the club. She was also involved with Netball for many years.

There will be a memorial service for Annabelle and we will advertise the time and place in due course.
